No doubt that HD-DVD and Blu-ray are the most popular and high quality DVD products.HD-DVD stands for High-Definition/Density DVD, Blu-ray Disc (also known as Blu-ray or BD) is a standard DVD format. And most people now still prefer HD DVD player better than blu-ray player.
One of the reason is the cheap DVD movies, people pay less money to rent or buy home and play it or convert DVD to avi, convert DVD to iPod only cause the cost is less. Oppositly, blu-ray cost more and most people even don’t know the differences between the two, so why not people go with the reasonable one?
Though the DVD ripper can rip DVD to avi no matter that’s HD or Blu-ray, but the difference is still there, higher quality. And some one are glad that ps3 can be used as a bly-ray player and some of them are using it as a DVD play more than a game player.
